Arrived at 0500 for 0600 delivery. Drove back towards docks to turn around and back into drop trailer area to park. Around 0600 a gentleman came and got my BOLS and directed me to Dock 2. Docks 1 and 2 require driving down 1st street a little further then turning between the metal shop building and plant. Dock 2 was ok to get into I've had worse but that stupid shop building is way too close to the docks and that's why they have metal poles protecting it because you WILL hit that building with your blind side if you aren't watching it closely. I did not hit it but be cautious. Dock 1 would be a real problem to get into bc of that shop building. Unloaded and on my way...read full review
Truckers beware coming from i70 to ks99 at alma foods gps will tell you to take the right turn before you get to 1st st don't do it,it's a dead end. You will see the sign for alma foods s&r just up ahead. Also the lot is tight when full,parking is limited to 3 or 4 trucks ,there is a truck stop at i70 & ks99 with plenty of room for parking and only 4mi away.
Overnight parking available on dirt lot. Appointment at 0600. Receiver came to truck at 0550 and asked for paperwork and sent me to door #2. I didn’t even need to walk to any office to check in at all. Backing into door #2 is pretty straight forward. The guy breaks the seal. Unloaded in 30 minutes. Guy brings signed bills back to you. Easy in and out.
