I said, can I come in my decorative mumu and they said whatever makes you comfortable, so I went. There are many changes for the good on Calumet Avenue. A coffee shop and plants and this hair salon adds to the benefits. I explained how my very fine, baby, fine hair had no body, and all she had to do was cut about an inch or so off, and it would curl in this heat, which is what she did perfectly. “I had a very generalized idea of what I wanted…natural look, bit of a cut and possible shape. My hair is curly, tends to frizz, and my natural color is dirty blonde, but had some brassy highlights. Esmeralda was great. She was understanding and gave me options. I’m always worried trying a new stylist because they don’t all understand that curly hair wet and curly hair dry are totally different. When I pick a length, some don’t understand that once dry, it’ll be at least an inch shorter. Esmeralda did! I love the color and toner she did (super natural, but looks rich) as well as the cut and shape. I highly recommend! I’m very happy and excited to have a new go to girl!“
