It is a great post! Very friendly, food is always tasty! I know this probably is not the correct place to ask about this, but three years of phone calls and such with still no ID card is beginning to get to me! My name is Mary Doub. I spoke with someone about my dues in 2020 and sent in payment, did not receive a new card. Waited nearly a year, got someone on the phone and sent in payment for 2021. Another year went by and I called again, still no card. I then, rather than send in yearly dues, asked what my payment would be for a lifetime membership, I then sent the 153.00 requested on 10/9/22. I have called several times only to be told that they " would get to the bottom" of the situation with no results. I love the VFW and have moved to Florida, but am unable to cross the threshold of their doors as I have no card. I went on line to national only to learn that my number no longer exists! I am currently sixty one years old and have been a member of the ladies axillary since I was a teen! I really am not trying to cause any trouble, I just want my membership card so that I can enjoy the VFW here in Florida. If it helps any, the final check (waiting on the bank to send me the older images) was made out to and mailed to Connie Truss, a very nice woman that I spoke with on the phone. I own a business and understand that "stuff" happens and we all make mistakes. If SOMEONE can PLEASE help me, I will be overjoyed!
