I have always been very picky about who I let touch my hair. I have naturally curly hair and have had so many messed up cuts. My parents recently moved to Valpo from northern Wisconsin and I came to visit them for the week. I’ll be immediately going right from here to a work conference and I needed a cut bad. Some local cousins suggested Pete’s. The line was long but they were able to finish each customer in only about 15 minutes. I had Halle and she cut my hair exactly as my barber back home does for about half the price and in about half the time. I found my new go to place when I’m visiting my parents!

Needed a hair cut within walking distance of where I was staying and Pete's was more than happy to have me sit in one of there 4 chairs. Good conversation and great customer service. $20.00 for a great fade, maybe a little pricey but I can't complain about the quality of the cut. Right on point and I walked out feeling good.

Great place for a cut. The setup in the shop allows for the barbers and the patrons to have a good discussion. Oddly enough, I liked the social experiment in the holding area where we all had to keep it in order of who had next. It was my first time back in the area in 5 years. Glad I found this place. Will be back each time I come into town. The barber I had knows her craft and understood precisely what I wanted. It had always been hit or miss in the area for barbers to give regulation haircuts.
