I took my daughter here today for her first eye exam at Midwest Eye. All of the staff were amazing! We saw a few techs who were so great with her, the Assistant Manager was amazing and even checked on us again because they knew my daughter was worried about wearing glasses. The employees working in the optical shop were friendly and helpful. Dr. Holman was amazing with her as well and very good at explaining what she was doing before doing things. There is honestly nothing that could have improved our experience here, I am glad we scheduled an appointment at this location.

I won't buy glasses here again. Bought 2 pairs, 1 of which progressive. First, my scripts were switched so the wrong lenses were put in the frames. Second, I heard a pop while wearing my glasses with the progressive lenses and a small section of the plastic frame broke out after wearing them for 3 weeks. They replaced them for free, and the EXACT same thing happened with the replacement frames, same timeframe, same spot on the frame, everything. Since I paid almost $500 for two pairs of glasses and had these issues, I will not buy glasses here again. I will now go back to my tried and true online source, zennioptical.com, which I've never had any of these issues... read full review

After 3 tries, it was a success! A long but necessary review below.I had misplaced my glasses after a trip and came to them with an outside prescription since the place I normally go to, Rothbaum eye's optical person was out sick at the time and I needed a new pair ASAP. Since I had an un-updated backup pair I brought them in to use the frame. I brought them in on a Monday, and that same Friday I received a call from optical asking me to come in to have a lens trace done. Confused I came in, since that was done on Monday. The lens trace must not have saved since they did not have it in their system, and they asked me if I have my frames with me - but I left them... read full review
