They sent my brother who is a cancer patient home with Bronchitis.. 2 weeks later pneumonia as well as Covid!! Saying they send cancer patients home all the time sick !! The Dr were arrogant , they Dont listen ! Getting people through this ER out out is their main objective!!

I went to the emergency room on 1/7/24 around 2:30 AM for horrendous pain in my right side. There was only 1 other person in the waiting room when I checked in. I waited for approximately an hour and a half in the waiting room in tremendous pain. I would often yell out in pain, I was crying and at one point I was so nauseous that I laid on the floor in the waiting room because I felt like I was going to pass out. I ended up leaving the ER around 4 am because I felt the staff wasn't taking my pain seriously. I never made it back to an exam room nor did I even see anyone other the the receptionist and the nurse who takes you vitals. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had there. I will NEVER go there to receive any type of medical treatment and I will encourage my family and friends to never go there!! I am absolutely disgusted with St. Joe ER!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that yes in deed the central Medicare system found St Joseph Hospital negligent in releasing my mother when she was physically not ready. Please this is confirmation that they are not being responsive and careful with your loved one. Do not leave their side and double tag team your loved one if at all possible please for their own protection to keep them from being killed!

The Genetics & Risk Assessment Center at the Saint Joseph Cancer Institute is the only one of its kind in the area. Our staff works with recently diagnosed patients to help provide them information on their diagnosis, determine the likelihood that the cancer is inherited, coordinate genetic testing and provide accurate interpretations of the results. Access to genetic testing for a variety of cancers continues to increase. Our goal at the Genetics & Risk Assessment Center is to give patients the information they need to make the best decision for them.
