My family has used Ballard and Sons for many years as we all grew up in Middletown and knew the owners. After we moved we still use their services. Tyler was very professional and helpful during a recent death in our family. For someone so special to have passed, it was great to have someone so caring, helpful, and dedicated to helping our family through this horrible time.
My baby son lost the fight for his life at just over 3 months old and me and my wife were faced with something no parent should ever have to deal with. We were referred to Ballard and sons and fully expected to have to come up with a substantial amount of money to have the arrangements taken care of. We were shocked when they told us that they do not charge for the cremation of children. This fact saved us from having to scrounge for money, and allowed us the peace of mind to grieve and still take care of our other children. I have attended many funerals there over the years and recently my parents passed less than a month apart. Ryan, John and their team were great. They helped us through the entire process and made sure everything went well. I can’t think of anything they could have done better for us. Funerals are the last thing anyone thinks of but if you’re over 70 start talking with Ballards and get something started even if it’s just asking questions. We had one funeral planned and one not. Planning makes things so much better.
