“I wanted to update this review on account of Knesek Screen, Window, and Lamp Repair Service continues to do praiseworthy work.Formerly, I wrote: In September of 2018, the good people at KSW&LRS replaced (which is to say "built from scratch") no fewer than 14 screens on the south wall of my three-season porch. Subject porch is a monster comprising a twenty-foot-tall, dual-pitch, cathedral roof and a two-tier vertical arrangement of screens--Euclidean nightmares all. The craftsmen at KSW&LRS brought the monster to heel in reasonable time and at a reasonable price. That's the boring part. The remarkable bit, and the impetus behind this writing, occurred almost one year later, when I called KSW&LRS about three screens that looked just the slightest bit slack in their frames. I was pleased when a carpenter was promptly dispatched to assess the situation. I was delighted, floored in fact, when KSW&LRS informed me they'd tighten the screens at no cost.Consider for a moment the exceeding rarity of a businesses that stands so steadfastly behind its work. Consider also the ease with which KSW&LRS could have ascribed the condition of my screens to ten months of Chicagoland weather. They could have, but they didn't. Above all, consider calling KSW&LRS next time the proverbial s*** hits your screens, windows, or lamps. Consider it seriously. Very seriously."That was five-years ago. Comes now 2024 and KSW&LRS has yet again seen to the wellbeing of my porch. This time, a repair was required after a spring windstorm drove a tree-branch through one of the east-facing screens. KSW&LRS had a tech on my property in short-order. The repair, though extensive, was expertly accomplished in just a couple of hours. “I turned my 2.5 car garage into a bungalow for my mom. After we got it all redone inside, we had two days of down pour and a ton of water flooded in her house by the door. A contractor told us to put a gutter on the front of it to solve the problem. I called Quality Gutters to come out and give me a quote because it was due to rain again that week. I was contacted the next day. He came out and gave me a quote the next day afyer the call back and we had our gutters up in two days. I got the gutter guard system too since we have a ton of trees on our property. The price was extremely reasonable and we got amazing service also. So far we have had multiple storms and no water issues. My favorite thing was it was a smaller job but I was treated with the same urgency and importance as a large job. I will be calling them back out when we redo our house gutters.“
