Highly recommended!! Shihan and Sensei Howard are patient and excellent at what they do , last year I signed up my kids when my son even tough he was excellent academically was having behavior issues at school (punching etc. ) someone suggested Karate could help him , I’m glad we signed him up!! after a couple months he not only stop having behavior issues at school but now he is an excellent helper , yesterday was teachers conference day and was so proud to listen to the teacher saying how he is always paying attention and how he offers to help around the class room my son who was getting in trouble the year before now he is doing great and back on A honor roll... read full review
Master Howard is an incredibly talented instructor!!! He is wonderful with my children and I am in his adult class. I would recommend this karate school to anyone that is even remotely interested in martial arts. Master Howards low pressure and FUN way of teaching is highly successful!!! You will want to keep coming back. He takes students as young as 3 years old through adult. General self-defense training is a good reason to start but classes are also good for exercise and getting the heart rate up! I can’t say enough good things about this school and Master Howard!!!
Shihan Howard is incredible with the kids, he pushes them to their fullest potential while building their self-esteem. We followed him from the YMCA to his studio and have our son going to classes 2x/wk. Our 5 year old is always so excited on the days he has karate. We have watched him grow and advance with Shihan’s help every step of the way. We highly recommend DSK!
