They have non-gendered pricing and go by length instead which makes tons of sense and makes me very happy. I’ll miss having Joy as my barber (I’m moving). Easily accessible by bus and I’m pretty sure every trans masc person in the area goes here.

They spend good amount of time on the work required on your hair. They ask questions about what you want and how do you want your hair to be done and follow what you told them. My hairstylist, I guess they were Tennessee, was very friendly too. I had a bad day when I visited them and she was kind enough to talk to me and take me out of thoughts.

Shelby is fantastic! I went from bulky shoulder-length hair to a short shaggy cut. They checked in with me multiple times during the haircut to make sure it was what I was picturing, and styled me out. I felt the cost was well worth the service- a short scissor cut was $30 :)
