“I recently had an appointment for a tooth I was concerned about, I arrived at my appointment on time, and went to the front desk to check in. There were three women behind the desk, I stood at the front desk for about 6 mins with no acknowledgment, no hello, I’ll be with you shortly please take a seat…nothing practically felt invisible. So after standing there for sometime I politely and quietly said “hi excuse me, appointment for Melissa just wanted to check in” Then the front desk lady looked at me and said “yea well I’m on the phone right now” in a rude tone, so the whole time I was standing there they acted like they couldn’t say a word to me but she could say that ? I sat down and waited to be called back, once speaking to her she showed me 2 teeth that were on my file, I told her I wasn’t worried about those at the moment and would just like to focus on the one that’s bothering me, on the second time telling her that she shook her head at me and said “you know what she’ll just talk to you back there” again in a rude tone. Sorry, but I just spent $1500 to remove my wisdom teeth that was recommended now $650 for 2 teeth that aren’t even bothering me ? It was like she was pressuring me to do those before I could even take care of my immediate concern. I left that day, and just said I would call back another time. I have been going to Dixon park dental for a few years now, I have brought my child, and my husband here for dental work, and have recommended them to family members, the staff have always been great, but the front desk lady had me thinking of switching dentist office because of the way she made me feel that day, sorry, but if you’re going to be a front desk receptionist expect to multitask and always be kind, going to the dentist is already anxiety inducing for some.“

“Best dental visit ever!! Going to the dentist has always been an unpleasant experience for me. I don’t have the best teeth, I have an autoimmune disease that makes my gums very sensitive and inflamed, I have a horrible gag reflex and a small mouth so x-rays are always a nightmare. This visit, I was so relaxed! Ashley cleaned my teeth and did the x-rays. For the first time in my life, I had zero gagging or any type of reaction when taking the x-rays. So that was a great start to the visit. She also put a numbing gel on my gums to make cleaning less painful given my condition. I have struggled with the autoimmune disease for7 years and no one has ever given me any type of medication or treatment but Dr. Hearn did. All of the staff members I encountered were very kind. Jessica even came back while I was waiting to see the doctor to complete any information she needed for my files. She’s super sweet!! I would recommend Hearn Dentistry to everyone (and I have been)!!“

“Dr. Kingseed is a very gentle dentist. I have never felt comfortable at a dentist office and usually require gas for any dental work. He does not have gas so I was very scared my first time. “I broke my tooth last Wednesday. My appointment to get it fixed was for Thursday morning at the Greentown location. I had a terrible experience at the Greentown office that morning so I called the Kokomo office before I even left the parking lot and let them know what was going on. Amber was super nice when trying to get me an appointment in Kokomo. I think she could sense how upset I was and she worked a miracle and got an appointment for me the next morning. Dr. Howard said she would get me in and take care of my tooth. Between Dr. Howard and Dental Assistant Alicia they went above and beyond to make sure I left with a happy smile on my face and I did. The whole staff at the Ladd in Kokomo are great. I thank them for always being friendly and welcoming.“
