We have had Wood Lawn Care for over 25 years, at two different houses, and they have always done a great job and have been very responsive. They have mowed, fertilized, aerated, mulched and plowed for us at various times, always mowing, every year.Services: Mulching

I've been a customer of Wood Lawn Care for approximately two years. In addition to weekly mowing, I've used them for seasonal cleanups (I have quite a few mature trees on my lot), as well as lawn repair and treatment work. When I purchased my home in 2019, the lawn was in very poor condition. The previous owners had several large dogs that caused pretty severe damage to the turf, causing ground ivy and other weeds to completely take over. Wood recommended aeration and overseeded the lawn, plus installed new sod in several areas where the previous owners' raised beds had once been. They set up a seasonal fertilization schedule to help encourage healthy turf, but didn't go crazy with weed killers. I have been very happy with the improvement in my lawn, although it took about a year to see drastic improvement. Wood is definitely less "chemical happy" than some of the other local companies, which I appreciate, and they were clear that the process would take some time. I've found them to be very professional, and they have done an excellent job on every project. When I have requested additional services, they came out quickly, and they have always been great with offering suggestions or answering questions. They can be a little pricey on some landscaping services, but overall I have found their prices fair, particularly for weekly mowing service.
