I made an appointment for a root touch-up on my vivid hair color and I absolutely love what Carrie did with my color! She blended emerald and aqua tones into my usual blue, and it's so pretty! The salon itself isn't overwhelming or overcrowded, so it was easy to relax in the chair while my color processed, and it's located right on Madison Avenue just north of Epler so it's easy to find. (Plus, Kim's Cakery bakery is right across the street, so you can hop over and pick up a sweet treat after you've finished at the salon!)

Carrie @ Twisted Strand is the BEST stylist in the city! You will not be disappointed. The shop is not in the best locale, but it is right across Madison from Kim's Kakery, so get Carrie to cut your hair and then stop over for a cupcake at Kim's.
