Let me start off saying, I work in private aviation, catering to the rich and famous, I have a strong background in customer service. I am well versed in how to treat the paying customer. So, here goes, I was a patient in recovery at their center for one night. I was bullied, ganged up on, ridiculed, treated horrible. The two horrible women treated me as if I were on a level playing field with them--despite my being in pain, swollen and confused and NOT clear minded. I had to defend myself against them. I was in a vulnerable state having just been a few hours out of surgery. These two monsters treated me horrendously. I do not know how this "Tiffany" woman who works the night shift is a Nurse. Zero compassion and the first time Ive ever seen a human without emotion. I am researching the standard of care in Indiana and I contacted the Attorney General. I was treated abominably. It was the worst medical experience Id ever encountered, by the two Night Shift Nurses- Tiffany and Lori. I will edit and expand on this review in the coming days. And do whatever I can to prevent any other future customers/patients from being treated the way I was. They intentionally withheld my medication, told me I could leave and get in an Uber (illegal) Said I was of "clear mind" despite that I was just a few hours out of anesthesia to name just a few things. Im documenting it all so I dont forget. It was horrendous.
I have received Botox treatments from one of the doctors at (Meridian Plastic Surgeons) since 2016, and have been very pleased with the results and cost. Last month the Doctor that I had been using was on vacation and the receptionist suggested I make an appointment with Spa 70 West, which is in the same building as Meridian Plastic Surgeons. I was not pleased with the results of the treatment I received from Spa 70, so I went back for a follow up and was told that the untreated area would be an additional treatment/cost. So I ended up having two visits to get what usually took one visit in the past, and ending up being charged almost double for what the Cosmetic surgeon...read full review
Typically I don't to leave bad reviews, however I thought it was worth doing so When it comes to spending large amounts of money. I had a consultation in the fall with Dr. Van Natta for a "mommy makeover". He came highly recommended by one friend who I trust. I knew that it was going to be between him and Dr. Turkle (who is across the street) when I began this journey. According to Dr. Van Natta's website the average cost of a mommy makeover was $12,300-ish. When I got to my consultation, the staff was very friendly. Very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. When we finally got to the part where I spoke to Dr. Van Natta, I thought he had a great plan in place. I was really looking forward to the upcoming surgery that I had pre-planned and scheduled due to coming from out of state (I grew up in indiana and was familiar). The only thing that threw me off about his character was that he spent about 10 minutes lecturing me about Covid vaccines and his opinion about them (I'm a nurse, and am familiar). However, it wasn't necessarily a dealbreaker. The problem came when it was time to sit down and discuss the financial aspect. The first page that she went over said that the procedure would be $12,700. Right around the price the website said. But then we flipped to the second page. There was another $6000 (approximately) in fees. It included the anesthesia, facility cost, garments, etc. Talk about sticker shock! I thought that that should've been something the website should have disclosed. I mean, that's a breast augmentation at most places. Total cost for the mommy makeover was going to be just under $20,000. We are talking Los Angeles pricing in Carmel, Indiana. Trust me, I had done my research prior to my appointment. I started to think about just doing the tummy tuck only, which they told me the total cost would be $12,700 ish. Again, astronomical prices for the location. A few months later I had a consultation with Dr. Turkle across the street. I am very familiar with her work and have several friends that have been to her so I felt very comfortable knowing that she would do a great job as well. Total cost for a mommy makeover was just over $13,000 at her facility. If I would've included a breast lift with the breast augmentation it would've been around $14,000 (all in pricing). The quality of work is just as great and trustworthy. I still just can't believe people are willing to pay those prices when they can get the same quality of work for a fraction of the price. Glad I looked elsewhere.
