I was referred to Mr Marietta to assist me with my Federal tax and Inheritance tax from some property that I inherited in 2021and sold in 2023. He informed me he could take care of everything and would file an extension with Kentucky Department of Revenue. He had asked me to answer some 12 questions that was needed which I spent 2 more days finding everything he needed, copying it and sent to him. He told me not to worry about a thing because he knew how to do his job. I sent it all to him on 5/25 and this was requested on 5/22. Contacted Marietta for guidance as my employment structure changed. I had two 15 minute conversations with Larry, most of which was him telling me about his cabin. Then months later, received a bill for $1,325 for “research”. I paid it, then was charged $700 for a simple W2 return. I stuck with Marietta through this. In September I reached out for some strategy input making sure I was documenting properly and to ensure I wouldn’t have a surprise come April 15.
