Personally had to reach out for assistance and housed for over a year while I attended school. My counselor was a good hearted person and done her best to find solutions to what potentially hindered my path to life goals set to achieve lasting success. She instilled patients and eye on the big picture while not sweating the small stuff. This is my favorite Veteran Help Agency in Indy. So much is offered by HVAF, to include clothing, food, hygiene items, pet food and litter, housing resources for homeless vets. They offer their help M-F using donors and volunteers who serve up their food pantry and clothing giveaways on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1130am to 2pm. I give the HVAF organization a 100 on a scale of 0 to 100. They rock.
