Gentle Nails

I went to Gentle Nails today for the first time. I was pretty desperate on NYE and they were able to accommodate me with a mani/pedi. I’ll say it’s not really fancy but I am impressed with the results so far. The original dark silver color I picked wasn’t available but I was happy with the color Monica picked instead. I would have given 5 stars if cleanliness were better. They should be using new gloves for each customer and sterilizing tools they use. The smell was very strong while I was waiting too and it was a little hard to communicate during the appt. I was going to another place for years and knew they were getting sloppy and rushing. Finally, I had the worst looking nails and after just one week I walked into this salon. The website showed no open appointments but I walked in and showed them my nails and begged for a spot. They told me to come back in one hour. THANKFUL! This place is a hidden gem! I've been going to Gentle Nails almost monthly for about 2 years now. I think they do a great job, they are very friendly and welcoming. They do a great job on my nails and when I come in with a crazy idea, Sonny will always execute it to perfection, often adding in his own ideas to make it better! I'm constantly getting complimented on my nails, and that feels great! Their prices are reasonable as well. I recommend if you want a regular spot to have some self-care time to yourself or to take a friend.
