I miss you, Evan Todd Spa and Salon. I keep checking in to see when you're going to reopen and jealously seeing that your Lafayette location has reopened. I haven't had a hair cut since February and I'm holding out for you to reopen When I find myself stressed or needing some R&R, this spot is my little hideaway within the city to pretend that I'm on some baller vacation elsewhere. What makes it so great, you ask? 1.) Well, for starters, the location is in the Conrad Hotel along the Cultural Trail so I can easily bike from home 2.) if I'm too lazy or short on time to bike, valet is complimentary for Evan Todd guests (don't forget cash for a tip!) 3.) the Conrad lobby is always so lovely and I'm a s***** for grabbing a cup of their fruited water before heading upstairs 4.) your visit to the salon comes with access yo the pool, steam room and sauna for the Conrad (did I mention the beautiful skylights over the pool?) 5.) I've had great massages and now a great haircut here (I really appreciated the Dutch braid I was given after my last cut) Just a few reasons I would argue this is one of Downtown Indy's best kept secrets.
Man. This place is a secret gem that I (now not so secretly) wish people wouldn't find out about. The amenities (pool, wet/dry saunas, fitness center) are just the tip of the wellness iceberg. Get a 90 min stress fix massage and thank me via Venmo. ;)
I was in town for a quick overnight, and didn't have much time to get errands done. Another nail salon nearby was not able to accommodate me, so I took a chance and walked into Evan Todd Salon & Spa. Now, I always recommend calling ahead, but in this case, I think it was a matter of timing and wonderful, welcoming staff that had me situated right away! I went in for a gel manicure, and was greeted by a beautiful personality of a human named Angel Jackson. She was soooo hospitable, so gracious, and funny! She helped me picked an awesome color for the season, and did a beautiful job at such a last minute. Please go see her if you're near. Give her a call at the salon, and you'll have a fantastic experience. Thank you, Evan Todd team! I look forward to setting up an appointment now that I have your team on speed dial next time I'm in town! :)
