If you are a straight white man don’t be coming up in here……got the bare minimum appearance of help in here, call the 1-800 number for intent to file, this will create back pay if you qualify, get your va medical history and any, ANY, other supporting evidence, your own testimony, spouse, battle buddy et cetera, file claim online takes 20 minutes max, wait for c and p exam, takes a few weeks plus for it to be scheduled, go to exam, hear back in a few months, if you don’t get it and you think you should file an appeal or escalate it……these people are straight up racist or incompetent…..or both…..good luck and god bless
I recently was employed with the D.A.V on the third floor . Room 324 . I started 11/3 -05/08 . 05/08 was my last day never knew but I was told to leave without any explanation . Few hours later I was told because I didn’t have a certificate they required they fired me . I was also told by the NSO supervisor it’s okay that I don’t have the certificate , she would do a waiver for me .I believed that . & so I was still waiting almost 2 weeks haven’t heard from the supervisor only text stating they would call but never did . When I went down there, they told me I had to call to make an appointment. For 6 months, no one answered the phone. Today, I was told, I had to come in to make an appointment or they can get my information to give a call back. I chose the call back. If I have to come by, why do I need an appointment? So she said, would give my information to someone. I am hoping this won't be another 6 months.
