They ha e young veteran that do not ha e enough on hands experience .do not know how to handle cattle dogs go to a large animal vet that knows what there doing and not so much in it for the bucks there like we call vet mills they have about ten vets with there hands in the tile treated my dogs pretty ruff.I had to tell them how to do the blood work.
We recently transferred our furbabies to Brookville Road Animal Hospital, and we wish we'd done it sooner! They've been tremendously helpful as we integrate a new kitten, get him fixed, treated, vaccinated, etc. They're friendly, and they also won't try to nickel and dime you like some of the other vets I've gone to in Indy. They're fantastic!
When we adopted our dog, Oliver, we shopped around a little bit to find a vet that would be a good fit. It's remarkably hard -- some are overpriced, some are sketchy, and some give off the vibe that they only want to treat tiny, purebred dogs. But the most important metric -- probably the only real one -- is if your pet feels safe, secure, and happy at the vet. Oliver always does at Brookville Road. BRAH has always checked off all of the right boxes for us and for Oliver. They have a huge, responsive staff, with front-office staff that are extremely knowledgeable -- we often can solve problems over the phone without needing to bring Oliver in. They always give us detailed guidance about our pup in terms we can easily follow and understand, and we get follow-up emails and calls after appointments just to check in on how he's doing. I've seen some other reviewers that may be confused by the name -- BRAH is definitely a veterinary clinic, not an emergency hospital, and they are a busy bunch! Lots new pets found homes during the pandemic, and some lost them shortly after. But if you're looking for a new veterinary clinic, I couldn't recommend BRAH more highly.
