“I wanted to update this review on account of Knesek Screen, Window, and Lamp Repair Service continues to do praiseworthy work.Formerly, I wrote: In September of 2018, the good people at KSW&LRS replaced (which is to say "built from scratch") no fewer than 14 screens on the south wall of my three-season porch. Subject porch is a monster comprising a twenty-foot-tall, dual-pitch, cathedral roof and a two-tier vertical arrangement of screens--Euclidean nightmares all. The craftsmen at KSW&LRS brought the monster to heel in reasonable time and at a reasonable price. That's the boring part. The remarkable bit, and the impetus behind this writing, occurred almost one year later, when I called KSW&LRS about three screens that looked just the slightest bit slack in their frames. I was pleased when a carpenter was promptly dispatched to assess the situation. I was delighted, floored in fact, when KSW&LRS informed me they'd tighten the screens at no cost.Consider for a moment the exceeding rarity of a businesses that stands so steadfastly behind its work. Consider also the ease with which KSW&LRS could have ascribed the condition of my screens to ten months of Chicagoland weather. They could have, but they didn't. Comes now 2024 and KSW&LRS has yet again seen to the wellbeing of my porch. This time, a repair was required after a spring windstorm drove a tree-branch through one of the east-facing screens. KSW&LRS had a tech on my property in short-order. The repair, though extensive, was expertly accomplished in just a couple of hours.
