I don't write reviews casually; however, I must commend Schmucker Construction Co. for the excellent work they did on a total replacement of my roof. The fellows working on the roof, Jeff and Jacob did a great job and this was in spite of 90 degree heat. I was truly amazed at the quality of the work.
The price was in line with what a roof this size would cost. Thanks to Darren, I appreciated the honesty and the abscence of any kind of dog and pony sales pitch that other roofing companies feel the need to perform.
Again, the price was reasonable and the work was exemplary, what else would you want.
The Schmucker roofers were top-notch and hard-working. My roofing need involved a complete tear-off and replacement. The roofing team was here to receive the roofing materials and worked continuously through the intense heat. They came to work on time and worked hard all day and were cordial to deal with. The completed roof looks fantastic and the peace of mind of having high-quality shingles cannot be overstated. The dumpster provider was prompt in the drop-off and pickup. The only minor issue had nothing to do with the roofing job; on pick-up, the dumpster left rust on my driveway that I have to resolve; I expect that this is not uncommon for any roofing job. This a very honest, professional company. They were responsive to my questions and concerns and I love my new roof! They installed my original roof 27 years ago and promptly came to help when I had a leak 10 years ago, even though that leak was NOT a roof problem but a furnace vent that had rusted out.
