I would and will never use Lincoln Financial for any reason. My mom passed away and I am a beneficiary. I have sent in the death certificate 3 times and get the confirmation they received it. I spoke to the document department and they told me they received it. One department received it but the other department has not. They use the same document department so why one department gets and the doesn't is beyond me. They won't change the address in the system to the address on the death certificate so I don't receive the paperwork I need. These people keep giving me the run around about my deceased father’s 401k payout. Everyone I have talked to has all said something different. Every time they require a new document I send it and they come up with excuses or ask for more documents. Worst place to do business with! Please for the love of god avoid this place at all costs!

Terrible customer service.. Won't be able to speak to native English speakers. Tried 3x to confirm that they received a form required to change direct deposit routing, was told that I would receive an email confirming the receipt of the form. I sent the form to the provided email address 3x, no response at all. This is a simple and routine transaction, I don't know where to turn as there customer support is in a call center overseas.
