Our family member who died had lived in Evansville her whole life, and had used another funeral home in town to bury her mother 30 years ago. She was so disappointed with that facility that she told us for years to only use Browning for her funeral care when she died. And she was right. They held our hand every step of the way, especially Kyle, who made sure everything was perfect. We also used their Gathering Place after the service at the funeral home for a small reception, which was so convenient for us and a beautiful, quiet space with a nice kitchen and serving area. I’m not from Evansville, but I can’t imagine any funeral home being better than Browning.“

“When my husband of 50 years passed away in August, we turned to Alexander North funeral home for his services. They were able to see me and our daughters right away to make arrangements for the services. We worked with John, Ethan Jennifer, and Bobby, each of whom was very compassionate and caring as they helped us honor my husband. They have a lot of options for services from the luxurious to the more basic. We were very grateful that they allowed us to choose the options we needed to stay in our budget without any pressure to choose the more luxurious options. They took care of everything from the flowers to the music to the pictures for the video presentation. The facility itself is really nice; viewing rooms are tastefully decorated, they have the kitchen downstairs for family to have food, and they even have a room set aside for kids to play in, with a TV, games and toys. All of the staff was very sensitive to our needs. They even arranged to meet me the next day, which was a Saturday, to pick up all the flowers, food and gifts that we weren’t able to fit in our vehicles after the service. My family and I were extremely happy with the way that Alexander made a very difficult time for us just a little bit easier. We would highly recommend them to others.“
