this used to be my favorite vet, I called about an emergency appointment for my boy who started peeing blood: The guy who took the call could not say "we have no openings" He rambled on for at least five minutes about me calling them every morning at 7:30am to see if there's been a cancellation and I might be able to get him in some day. So I called Dr. Weldy and they said when a male cat starts having blood in his pee it's very serious and I need to get him seen TONIGHT!!! and they told me about the emergency vet clinic in Mishawaka. That took two minutes. Animal Care Clinic North needs a better communicator answering the phones, stop worrying about my feelings and just tell me the freakin facts: "I'm sorry we currently have no openings until November" That's all he had to say. I really like one of their Veteranarians but I am not liking the direction the business has taken seems like the last year or two . . . Get a better communicator and preferably one with some animal health experience, everyone in their right mind knows an unfixed male cat peeing blood is a critical situation, don't tie me up with a five minute word salad designed to hint at the answer you should just speak outright from the start . . .

I'm fully vaccinated; however, If you don't carry masks in your car - be warned. They will not see your pet with out the owner wearing a mask. They don't include that info in the many appt. reminders they send - text, email, call. Note to ACCN: If you're going to extend mask mandate in your business a month after the State ended the mandate - ALERT your customers BEFORE they drive there. Pet medical Records - they got hacked about a year or two ago and it was forever before they could take new clients or retrieve ANY prior info about your pet. Like for months and months that went on. Chaotic, sometimes hostile environment. They seem to forget that pet owners are how they get paid.

I tried several veterinarians for my dog to get the right one. Out of all of them I tried the animal care clinic was the best one. The people there was overwhelmingly nice, kind and caring. They were a little bit more expensive than the other veterinarians I went to but it was well worth it they were so kind and caring about my dog that I will always use them as my veterinarian from that time forward. I would recommend this Veterinarian to everyone and I don't recommend things lightly.
