Absolutely loved. My little Dakota was a stubborn little thing where she wouldn't even walk on a leash. Yesterday was graduation and she did so well. She won 2 out of the 3 games. They give you the tools that you need. The only thing I must say and not on them is you have to be willing to do the work at home and be consistent. The hour you get there isn't enough to train your dog. They give you the tools but then it's your job to follow thru. Dakota is an example. She wouldn't sit, down, anything but with lots of work and treats at home she did it and we're so proud of her. Thank you Landheim! We'll be back for you intermediate day classes (if you have them) P.S. The staff was amazing and girls were so nice. They greeted Dakota every time she left.

A Life-Saving Experience for Our Dog and Family! We cannot thank Landheim K9 enough for everything they’ve done for our puppy, Gunner. Before coming to Landheim, Gunner struggled with serious behavioral challenges — including resource guarding and handling aggression. Despite working with multiple trainers and even a veterinary behaviorist, we were overwhelmed and heartbroken. There was a point when we were told behavioral euthanasia was his only option at 6 months old. From day one, Josh took the time to truly understand Gunner. He created a structured, consistent environment and helped him learn impulse control, leash manners, and how to handle frustration. They didn’t just train him — they taught us how to handle him safely and confidently. During his two-week Board and Train, Josh worked on everything from loose leash walking and obedience to muzzle conditioning, dealing with aggressive resource guarding, and helping him feel comfortable with other dogs (after a terrible first experience with another dog). He even helped him through a scary medical episode during training — keeping us informed every step of the way. Josh rebuilt Gunner’s confidence and, in doing so, gave us the tools to rebuild ours. Since coming home, Gunner's been calmer, more responsive, happier, and 1,000 times a wonderful (and different) puppy. He is thriving with continued practice and structure. Now, at 9 months old, Gunner has successfully passed basic obedience training and is moving on to intermediate training. We are so proud of him and look forward to continuing with Landheim. It’s no exaggeration to say Josh (and Kip for encouraging us to bring him in for an evaluation) saved Gunner’s life. He not only gave us back our puppy, but also gave him a second chance at the happy life every dog deserves. We’ll forever be grateful to Josh for his professionalism, kindness, and expertise. If you’re struggling with a challenging dog — whether it’s aggression of any kind, fear, or handling issues — don’t give up hope. You owe it to your dog and yourself to call Landheim. We are living proof that they are changing lives.
