“I have been to many different eye doctors, but I believe good staff helps make a good doctor. I worked with Dana in this location and she was so helpful. She explained everything to me and broke it all down so I could understand it better. I only go here now. Dana and Dr.Bassetto are so amazing. Between those two, I always feel like I’m in good hands. Everyone here was professional and went above and beyond. Truly this is the best eye doctors office I have been to. I would, 10/10 highly recommend My Eye Doctor in Chesterton, Indiana. “The process of making an appointment with Midwest Eye Clinic was reasonably quick and easy. The staff was professional and accommodating.

I could tell that Dr. Sitko was very knowledgeable as she described my issues and wrote the prescription for my glasses.

I anticipated some difficulty in trying to decide on a pair of glasses, but the technician was wonderful at her job and put me at ease. When I slipped on the perfect pair of glasses, I knew they were the ones. Getting my technician's approval sealed the deal!

“I decided to go and get my annual eye exam and I wanted to go to America's Best. So I decided to go to the portage Indiana location. I had totally forgotten that it was October 31... Halloween. The place was decked out for Halloween and all of the staff members, including the doctor. We're all dressed and various costumes, which was awesome. I was sitting in the waiting area ready to see the doctor because I had already selected a nice frame that was on sale. The eye doctor dressed in an 80s jogging suit that was color blocked was really cute. Exam went well. Pressure was great eyes had improved. Ordered my glasses received them within two weeks. Overall experience was very good. The environment is very comfortable and laid-back. I would give it five stars.“

I broke a pair of my favorite glasses and apparently they were discontinued.
Shannon went above and beyond to track down the frames and replace them. I'll be going back for any eyeglass needs.
Her staff seem happy to be there as well.
