Can’t recommend this place enough!! Tired of being handed “an infected bandaid” (pills), being placed in the insurance company “protocols” because don’t be fooled, doctors don’t treat you, insurance and pharma do. Most of the time the “protocols” just lead to other problems. Not to mention they are so overwhelmed, they don’t take the time to investigate the root cause AND TREAT THE ROOT CAUSE. I have just started my journey with this office after spending 4 years with a general practice office and a slew of health issues that were just turning me in circles with no real solutions except, yep you guessed it…more pills. I am so excited to finally find real answers and move on to feeling and being a healthier version of me! No they do not accept insurance, you must pay up front and then file claim with your insurance to get reimbursed. This detoured me at first, thinking about the cost that would be involved. However, honestly, with the track I was on with conventional practices regulated by insurance, I was paying and on track to paying WAY more with the never ending hole I was in with my current “infected bandaid”. Also, I don’t know this for a fact but albeit they don’t file insurance because they are more concerned about your health than following any insurance protocol out there! Anyway, just wanted to share because I know the feeling of feeling there is no hope and settling for a track that has no real answers, relief or most important, optimal health. They truly look at you as an individual and personalize a treatment plan to attack YOUR root causes, not a bucket of people with the same symptoms. Extensive labs are drawn (nothing compared to the “scratch the surface, find an outlier and hand you a pill and never look deeper at the why) Functional medicine is REAL medicine! What’s your WHY? Isn’t that the real question we have heard over and over again. I would bet that most of my friends suffering from issues AND their doctors can not answer that simple question. There are real answers out there, you just have to breakaway from the “normals” and “that’s what my doctor said” mentalities that are way to prevalent.
I highly recommend this place!! Everyone there is super friendly and highly professional. From the moment I walked in I knew I was going to be in great hands. Talking with Ashley at my first appointment made me feel better even though we hadn’t found anything out just yet.
