Doctors here are great. Front desk staff and billing department leave something to be desired. I was bullied into paying a copay for my first visit even though I knew I had already met my out of pocket maximum for the year and would not owe any money. The front desk staff told me I had to pay and it would just be refunded later. For my next two visits I refused to pay and blatantly asked them if I could still see the doctor without paying. I was begrudgingly told yes but they were clearly unhappy with me.

I sprained my knee six months ago and after seeing my regular doctor and getting an x-ray and my knee not getting better I decided to go to OrthoIndy since they are in my insurance network. I called Ortho three times trying to get a cost estimate as to how much my visit would cost. No one was able to give me an estimate. Two people referred me to the billing office who told me they don't set prices they just bill whatever Ortho tells them to. I am a long way from meeting my deductible so the total cost is coming out of my pocket. I called one last time and asked for a callback and never got one. Community East quoted me $123 for a visit so I'm going there.

I have always had great experiences with Ortho Indy in the past. Their physical therapy at Brownsburg did not disappoint! The front desk staff is friendly when I check-in. The therapist and therapist assistant have been nothing but helpful and kind. They have pushed me gently and encouraged me through my sessions. Many times with large facilities you can get lost in their system. I have never had that issue here.
