Brownsburg ED Ronald Reagan. Just took my sick 4 year old here (12/18/2024) because it's close. Now I know to take the drive to a different hospital. After an hour and a half, chest X-ray, and nose swab, we got back to the EYE EXAM ROOM. mind you my son is pre-exposed my asthma, his mom and older brother have asthma. Not only did the PA, named Tom, did not want to wait for the results of his tests, he tried to let me go without actually knowing what's wrong with my son other than an ear infection. Assumed it was upper respiratory infection but after he left the room the results of the X-ray were back and read possible early pneumonia. Due to him being negligent my son almost left without having an answer. I'm very disappointed in this emergency room. DO NOT GO. Edit to add: (12/19/2024) they never sent my sons antibiotic in. Also never called with the results of his nasal swab which was positive for the flu.
