Horrible treatment towards animals and can never get a proper diagnosis. My dear friend had to put her cat down due to their negligence and lack of knowledge. The clinic never spoke about the incident. It's unacceptable.
Do NOT take your pets here. I have 2 experiences here of them mistreating and being so unknowledgeable. My Great Dane had a swollen toe for over a month. She went through 2 round of antibiotics from a different vet before I decided to get a second opinion. Took her to bluffton vet and the vet was extremely rude and not caring toward the tough situation. He very matter of a fact said "yep we need to take it off" saying her toe needed to be amputated. I was so upset and scared that we would have to put her through this procedure. After some thought we took her to DuPont vet and thank god we did. They restructured her medication and within a week her toe was back to normal. I truly think they were just trying to make money out of the situation and did not have my dogs life in their highest priority. Second most recent encounter with this vet. My best friends cat had been sick for over 2 months and had visited this vet 4 times because she was not getting better. They did not do any tests and kept putting her on the same medication even though it wasn't working. The 4th visit they assured my friend that they have nothing to worry about and it's probably the "stress" from their other cat that keeps making her sick. I told her about my experience with this vet and she made an appointment with DuPont vet that was 2 weeks away. That same night her cat was up all night puking and not doing well. DuPont got her in the next day and she was in really rough shape. They were able to get a blood sample from her and she tested positive for leukemia. Within an hour they had to say goodbye to their baby that was only 2.5 years old. Bluffton animal clinic NEVER tested for this even though it is very common in cats and was spreading through the area so bad that shelters had to stop adopting for some time. My friend called to tell the vet about what happened and 3 days later still has not heard a word. I highly suggest you never take your pets to this vet.
If there was an option for no stars, they would get it. So my animal has pet insurance right, yeah well I thought it was like any other insurance that it would cover it at the visit well I was wrong, and as I was coming out she was like that will be 163 I said well my pet has insurance why doesn't it cover it, she's like well they will reimburse you, well I didn't know that so I asked if I could get billed, Shes like " they dont bill for shots" so shes like let me go ask the doctor, and as shes walking back there she is laughing at me because I didn't have the money to pay. She was laughing at me while I was laughing at her because she literally was wearing a wig and it was definitely noticeable, so she set me on a payment plan and was really bitchy about it, I will definitly b finding a new vet,
