On 6/27/23 Dr. Aaron Smiley, as was proven by a circumstantially forced 2nd, exploratory surgery done by Dr Smiley, He failed to, in his words, "tie up" 2 tubes/ stumps (right and left Uterine Stumps) during Ginger's spay surgery. Because of Dr. Smiley's incompetence as a surgeon, and his careless inconceivable negligence, Ginger died from massive internal bleeding. The hypovolemia that led to Hypovolemic shock caused unrecoverable and irreparable damage to her body systems and organs systems. Dr. Aaron Smiley aka the “telemedicine guru” diagnosed my terrier mix with chronic renal failure in April 2023. She was showing no symptoms and was doing great until he performed a dental on her on June 27th. If you love and care about your pet, PLEASE TAKE THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I had been concerned about the level of care our pup had been getting when his health took a drastic turn. After spending well over $1,000 for tests and x-rays and still no answers, we went for a second opinion (to a wonderful vet in Indianapolis) and were immediately given answers: there was a large tumor in his stomach, fluid in his lungs, and a heart murmur. Somehow the vets at Devonshire missed everything. Their answer was to switch his diet. Now he's on medication but we don't want anyone else to go through the same situation which cost us a ridiculous amount of money and nothing to show for it but frustration and concern for our baby. Please don't let this happen to your furbaby!
