The receptionist, a delightful young lady, provided exceptional assistance. Nellie, another staff member, skillfully aided me in selecting the ideal frame for my needs. The optometrist conducted a comprehensive eye examination and patiently addressed all my inquiries. Jonathan, yet another staff member, meticulously ensured that the measurements aligned precisely with my visual requirements. I highly recommend America's Best for their exceptional service and expertise. My sincere gratitude to the entire team for their invaluable assistance.“

318 Peterson Rd, Libertyville“Our experience with Advanced Eye Care has taken us to a place that we never thought we would be. Our son, who is on the autism spectrum, was diagnosed with keratoconus in 2022, had corneal cross linking surgery in 2023, and then we looked for help with vision correction.
Then we found Dr Levine at Advanced Eye Care. He carefully explained to us how scleral contact lenses work and how "just the right fit" was very important, that it might take several trips to get that. After a few trips we found that perfect fit.
Because our son has autism and the fact that these scleral lens are a bit tricky to put in, we feared that this would be problematic. But, never fear, Karlee was with us all the way. She was very very patient and eventually got those contacts in our son's eyes.
We highly recommend Advanced Eye Care and Dr Levine {and Karlee} for scleral lenses. Their patience and professionalism is simply amazing. They brought vision back to our son. They continue to support us as our son enjoys renewed vision that we weren't sure was possible.“

1475 N Dilleys Rd Ste 4, Gurnee“Definitely the best eye care in the area. But be cautious—the staff at the front desk can be, to put it mildly, quite unprofessional. I didn’t expect such a hostile and aggressive reaction from the desk employee when I simply expressed my desire to pay by card instead of using my health insurance. The moment my request broke her usual routine, she immediately raised her voice. In a raised tone, she started to pry into unnecessary details about my insurance, even though I repeatedly stated that I would be paying with a card.
When the situation became unbearable for me — and clearly uncomfortable for those around — the employee's aggressive outburst was interrupted by another staff member, who resolved the issue with a single sentence: "He’s paying by card." After that, the front desk employee fell silent, but she was far from calm. She started making faces and rolling her eyes, like a childish character in a bad comedy.
Later, when I spoke to the other staff members, who were all caring, attentive, and professional, I was reassured in my belief that the front desk employee had behaved completely inappropriately. I hope no other visitors will have to become the next victim of her tantrum.“

6590 Grand Ave, Gurnee“Comparing Vision Works to Walmart: Summary: Walmart is MUCH cheaper for the same quality of daily contacts, much better customer service as well. Not sure what Vision Works is doing wrong, but they seem kinda money hungry to me. How I decided this: I used to order contacts at Vision Works in Gurnee Mills, but I had forgotten to get a new prescription done with them before leaving for college. The town my college is in does not have a Vision Works, so I decided to get it done at the Walmart Vision Center. Little did I know that was a good decision. I got the prescription done and got the free trial contacts, but never got around to ordering contacts. When I got back home in Gurnee, I tried to fax over my prescription to Vision Works and the woman that was helping me at VW was a little rude and hard to approach, but the lady on the phone doing the fax was very helpful. When the prescription went through, I was told that I could not order contacts from VW because the brand I had gotten at Walmart was not carried there. This did not really make sense to me because I thought it was only the prescription they needed, not the brand. So, I decided to go over to the Walmart in Gurnee to order from them, and the contacts not only came in 4 days, they cost $51 cheaper for the same 90 day daily contacts I would've gotten at VW. VW contacts usually come in after a week and a half or so. Wearing the contacts daily, I have not noticed any difference from the brand I used to get at VW. Now my whole family is switching over from VW to Walmart. Plus, the staff at both my college town and Gurnee were nothing but nice to me. At Walmart I get called Miss (insert last name), while at Vision Works they act like they don't even remember me. Overall great experience.“
“i went to this location because they specialize in total eye ball replacement. not only did they replace both of my eye balls they gave me a choice of color. they also put me on their mailing list so I get promotional offers, I'm so fortunate to have this store by my home. they gave me cool sun glasses too“
“I was a last minute appointment. I had never been to this neighborhood optometrist, but I had a problem with my eye and they were not only recommended by my insurance, but they had evening hours! Very accommodating, especially considering I was an emergency patient. Nice waiting room... cute little heater and everything, for the winter season, I'm sure. Glasses for you to browse are not in the waiting area, so you don't feel pressured to buy. Oriented as a true Dr.'s office. Didn't wait long. Staff was VERY friendly. Pleanty of reading material. While you can tell they have been there a while, and a bit dated, you can totally tell that they know what they are doing. You can tell they are working with what they have though...the doctor was joking a bot how hea can use a bit more counter space! Treated well and we all laughed together when we realized that my eye pain was due to a terrible case of "red holiday glitter". That's what I get for decorating my own xmas ornaments! Going to make another appointment today, for some glasses.“
“I saw Dr Adler for an eye exam and he fitted me for contacts. I’m usually a difficult fit due to my astigmatism but Dr A was able to solve my issues and put me in the right brand. I found him to be professional. I highly recommend“

From the warm welcome of waiting in the parking lot and was escorted to come in an ADA accessible back entrance & was told they would take us in earlier to the minute we left, we felt professionalism and accommodation like no other eye doctor. This was the very best experience my mother and I have ever had; clean, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind office and staff; bonus is all the dogs/animals on photos and office decor - to ease one’s anxiety !“

Nearly all inbound phone calls are deflected back to this website which feels like was built by an ambitious IT intern who skipped the class on end user experience.“
