Instead of just replacing the valve, he brought the current model of the same one, the same day, in a few hours. He installed the new one by himself and was very knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. It was a bit pricey, but worth it to get an updated model of such a good tank in a few hours and be assured that with a new tank it wasn't just putting a bandaid on a gash. I spoke with Jodi on August 13th, and she was incredibly helpful and attentive.
