“I hired Jakubek to remodel my master bathroom and my experience with them was amazing. I worked with Dawid, who was patient, accommodating, and communicative along what turned out to be (due to my own actions) a very long design process. At the end, I have an awesome and beautiful bathroom.<br><br>I had Jakubek out to look at my bathroom and give a quote. Between that date and the start date, I realized I am not even close to a designer, so I hired interior designers to help me. The plans the designers and I came up with were radically different than what I had explained to Dawid at the start and required us to completely re-quote the project, push the start date, and required Jakubek to coordinate with other contractors who were going to be doing some specialty work in the bathroom as part of the project. Despite how high-maintenance I was, Dawid was helpful, always ready to hop on the phone with my designers to discuss the details that I have no sense of, and always acted like my high-maintenance needs were no problem.<br><br>And now my bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and looks exactly how I wanted. “We had an architect design a 500 sq. ft. single story mother-in-law suite to add onto the back of our house. I got three bids from contractors in the area. I have experience in the construction industry as a project manager, so I am familiar with the design/build process.Working on the design and details with *** Shrago was a delight. While we ultimately decided not to go ahead with the construction due to my mother-in-law's health, I would have hire him and his team in a heartbeat. I will list the reason why I would hire *** and his team for any home construction project.1. *** lives in our community and has been building here for well over twenty years. He is well regarded by his competitors.2. He was straightforward with managing customer expectations. He was timely and responsive, brought every member of the trade onsite to ensure they gave accurate estimates for the work.3. He properly priced the entire project. In the construction industry, often time issues are left out of bids in order to secure the work. Contractors will inevitably include change orders as a way of re-capturing costs that were not addressed. The other contractors I solicited bids from did this, and it was clear that the bids were not "apples to apples". *** captured every line item in the process from start to finish and it was refreshing to be presented with an accurate, comprehensive proposal. 4. *** uses proper project management software and shares the process, timelines and cost estimates directly with the client via a web portal. This is the sign of a competent builder. Too many renovation or new construction projects wind up disappointing the client due to a failure to meet deadlines.
