Heaven knows what will happen to me for bestowing the ultimate rating on a Catholic cemetery not known for its number of Italian souls in residence, but this particular place is totally deserving. Located almost across the street from Cantigny, Assumption Cemetery seems to be able to push the envelope against Diocesan rules and regs and they do it in a wonderful way. Finally, a Catholic cemetery that exists for those its supposed to exist for: the bereaved. I was looking for a grave of an old friend who died in 2003. Michelle was very helpful over the phone and took the time to locate it for me. She also offered for me to come into the office so that she can show me specifically where his grave site is, to save me some time. She was very polite and helpful and enjoyed my time in the office as well as my visit to my grandpa and my good friend.
