On 3-11-24 , my 2O23 Tax was prepared by Ms. Andrea Lane of Wealthy Enterprise . Once Ms. Lane completed my tax, I was informed that I owed the State over $3,000 dollars. I showed Ms. Lane my pension statement that clearly shows that no state tax is taken out of my pension. Ms. Lane stood firm on her work and said that I owed the State over$3000 dollars. I left Ms. Lane office and returned home a few hours later. I texted her, my concerns. I then contacted the IRS and retired co- workers, who confirmed that Ms. Lane had made an error. I called Ms. Lane on a three-way call with a retired co-worker, who is a tax preparer, questions were asked of Ms. Lane in which she became defensive and irritated!! Ms. Lane commented that a 5 year old is capable of preparing my tax correctly!! And she again stood firm that no errors were made on my tax, and no Amendments will be made. Ms. Lane stated that the IRS would catch any errors. I ended the call with Ms. Lane, frustrated and in disbelief , knowing that she was not willing to accept she had made any errors! An hour later I sent a text asking Ms. Lane if she still stands by the work completed on my 2023 Tax? Ms. Lane again stood firm on her work . I then informed her that I will be expecting a refund back from her once H&R Block finds any error with my 2023 Tax, she prepared. It was not until then Ms. Lane decided to throughly recheck my 2023 Tax. Ms. Lane called my home at 1130pm and finally stated that she stands corrected, she had in fact made an error with my 2023!! Ms. Lane apologized and then followed up with a text message moments later wondering if I would still utilize her in the future?? I remained the Christian woman that I am!! I responded by text with God bless. Praying to God that Ms. Lane learns humility and realize that it is possible she makes errors too!! The next morning still stressed out and overwhelmed from this undue stress caused by Ms. Lane, I stated rechecking again my 2023 tax she prepared. I had a question about the Intake portion? I texted Ms. Lane and she responded with capital letters, which let me know she was irritated with my questions. Ms. Lane then called my home yelling and accusing me of nit-picking at her!! Ms. Lane told me that she was frustrated with me, and that she had corrected her error on my tax last night!! I ended the call letting her know that I did not appreciated her yelling and the disrespect!! To all potential clients Ms. Lane has absolutely no humility, compassion or empathy. Ms. Lane is not willing to consider that she makes errors on her work , she is not willing to accept correction or questions !! Not professional behavior! Ms, Lane wanted grace from me after putting me through undue stress for several hours, but was not willing to extend that same grace to me the next day.. ..again Ms. Lane didn't want to be questioned!! A definite character flaw and untrainable. My first and last time patronizing Ms. Lane and Wealthy Enterprise!!! New Response to your comment - l Unstable in all your ways... Get on your knees and pray , stay off this review thread sending responses and seek peace and wisdom for yourself You are guilty of everything and really deserved 0 stars from me. Your retyped response that you are trying to cover your tracks with is a failure!! Ms. Lane , you obviously have no clients and too much time on your hands. Not surprised that you are rewriting your response over twice. Ms. Lane, you are a living testimony of someone who needs guidance, wisdom and understanding, please seek The Lord why he may be found!!
