As a newly retired teacher I was looking for a trainer and a gym that would be convenient, affordable, and personal. EmpowerU Fitness fit the bill and more. David has a unique and personable approach to helping his clients improve their fitness. He is completely professional and dedicated to each person. Showing up for classes was exciting once I realized I would not be judged by other clients for my lack of fitness. Each woman who came in was friendly, supportive, and happy to work out. Before I joined EmpowerU Fitness, I couldn’t even do a push-up. I didn’t like the way I looked in my clothes. I felt sluggish and my joints hurt. I suffered from low back pain and I couldn’t climb a set of stairs without getting out of breath. In just 17 weeks, so much has improved! I have upper body strength, my clothes fit again, nothing is hurting anymore. In fact, I just helped my daughter move and didn’t hurt my back! I can climb stairs with ease. I no longer ask my husband to carry the laundry for me, and I was even able to ditch my inhaler!
