My family and I were loyal patients to a veterinary practice in Woodfield for 25+ years. Our 2yr old puppy got sick and our previous vet couldn’t find the answer - by no fault of their own. We had to bring our boy to multiple different vets and a few universities try to find answers to this “mystery” illness. The only good thing that came from that experience was finding Dr. Gunderson. She spent countless hours with us in the office, took late night phone calls to answer questions, and took her personal time to research answers. We will forever be thankful for her during that time.

Additionally, Dr. Wallach has been incredible. Our female corgi came down with acute pancreatitis last fall. Dr. Wallach got her in right away, made sure to see her next day for a follow up, and called me periodically over the next week to check-in on her.

Because of these two, I happily pack up my bunny and travel 50min for her check-ups and nail trims - now that i’ve moved out of my family home. I will always go out of my way for Danada as they continue to value special veterinarians like Dr. Gunderson and Dr. Wallach❤️“

She was able to combine their individual diet restrictions to make one recipe that both could safely enjoy and she developed one unique recipe for each of them too. “My incredibly stubborn, 1.5 year old 120-lb Bloodhound came to them with little to no training and a propensity for resource guarding and reactivity, and he came home from the Board and Train program a completely different dog, in the best way. They gave me and my dog the tools we need to avoid unwanted behaviors and I am truly amazed at the transformative level of obedience my dog now displays. A complete 180 from when he started. We utilize their services two times a week for doggie day care, and our dog gets beyond excited to go! “I have a 2.5 year old long haired GSD, and while he gets groomed every 3-4 months this was my first time at Central Bark. Liz, the groomer, was kind and friendly on the phone and answered all of my questions. She didn't judge when I said my pup was dog reactive, and was very understanding and told me how she would accommodate his needs. When I dropped him off I was able to call and make sure no dogs were in the lobby. Since it's a smaller place, it was much less stressful than our usual groomers. They said he did great! “I am not one to leave reviews but.. I would like to thank the whole team for being so kind and compassionate to me and my piggy. They took great care of my girl until it was time for her to be put down. I called an hour before closing time and they told me they would wait for me. As they were getting things ready even though it was past closing time the girl that was there offered more time for us to say goodbye. It really meant a lot to me and my family. We are super thankful. I just opened my mail and saw they sent a sympathy card, it brought tears to my eyes. These are the people you want taking care of your pets! Always welcoming and attentive. “We had a great experience! The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. I so appreciated that I didn't have to make an appointment, but could just walk in. We were ushered into a room right away, and seen by the doctor very soon. The vet was friendly with myself and my children and very gentle with my cat. We will look forward to our next appointment!
Now we have a dog and took her in to be spayed. They were so gentle with her, and I very much appreciated the cute letter they sent home, telling us about everything that happened, written from her perspective. I have no doubts she was incredibly well cared for!“
