We had to remove a couple of large trees from our property. Richie from SavATree provided the required documentation and kept us informed about the removal date. The removal crew did a great job ensuring there was no damage or debris leftover even though they used a crane for the removal. They did great job. Recommend them highly.

Very professional. Dominic explained everything in detail and told us exactly what to expect. John’s crew did a very nice job trimming three trees and cleaned up well. Very satisfied.

SavATree did a fantastic job with my tree removal. It was a very large silver maple just a couple feet from my house and maybe 10’ from my neighbor’s house. The crew did a great job taking it down quickly and carefully. I was nervous about how close the tree was to the house, but they got it down with no problem and no damage. My neighbor even came out when they were finished and was surprised with how quickly the got it done. The arborist, Sarah, was great as well with explaining my options and communicating throughout the whole process.

SavATree was founded by Ralph Robbins in 1978 with a single objective in mind; to save trees from the devastating effects of repeated defoliations by the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar (Lymantria dispar). While this moth was accidentally introduced into the United States by French entomologist Leopold Trouvelot in 1868, it was not until the late 1970’s that the population exploded in the Northeast. Ralph, a graduate of Paul Smith’s college and entrepreneur at heart, saw an opportunity to make a difference in support of tree preservation and care.
