“My overall grade for Skin Repair Studio wellness spa is: A+Please note that this review is for a deep-tissue massage.I've been seeking out a place that can help with some muscle tension knots and this place is the place. When you visit for the first time, one is asked to fill out a long survey/form that is reminiscent of a medical visit form. Seemed a bit too detailed for just getting a massage to me, but then, after my visit - this place is a serious about your health place and they want to dive deep into what is ailing you in order to help fix it.My massage therapist asked a lot of questions and quickly found the knots in my back and actually pointed one out that I did not know about.Long story short, she was very methodical and also tried some "cupping" to help relive the symptoms. While I was very sore afterwards, it absolutely helped and I will be back very soon to follow up on the treatment.My only "wish" was for more available time slots, but I get it. It's a small shop with a few highly-trained individuals, so it is what it is.I am now a loyal fan and will absolutely come back frequently. They really know what they're doing. This is not your run-of-the-mill places. This place is great.“

“I came in for a hot stone massage and had Lee as my therapist. I normally don’t feel comfortable with male therapists, but he was very professional about covering areas when he wasn’t massaging them and I was able to relax. The massage was excellent and the steam shower afterwards was a nice bonus. The only thing I would change would be more time with hot stones and making sure they are all hot. Will definitely be back again. :)“

As soon as you step foot into the spa, you feel instantly calmed as the ambience is very welcoming and relaxing, with candles everywhere and very calming decor. Candy is very kind and gentle with an inviting demeanor. The rooms were the same - low light, comfortable, relaxing. I had Angelo both times and he was great. I felt very comfortable around him as he is very chill. He asked why I was there and what he should work on. I had tightness in my neck/shoulders and he used deep pressure on me to work out the knots. It wasn't a \\\"feel-good\\\" massage, but it was what I wanted and needed. He offered me some great advice about my posture and things I could to to try to prevent some of the tightness. I enjoyed my chats with him and I have been more aware of my posture since. The price is reasonable, especially if you get a bundle of certificates. I have searched high and low for a massage therapist where the results last more than a week. I've been to quite a few where they just don't get the knots out, too light pressure, too painful without results. Angelo is the perfect. Just the right amount of pressure with lasting results. Just check them out, you won't be disappointed.“

“I was in Chicago and booked a few lymphatic drainage sessions with Auredika. She is the best massage therapist I've ever had. She is so skilled and knowledgable about post-operative care and scar care. With a very gentle but firm touch, she was able to make a significant difference in my swelling and soreness. I arrived feeling very stiff and sore, post surgery. Within a few minutes on her table, I could feel myself relaxing and left her place feeling very limber and was able to walk with ease and no discomfort. “My masseuse was wonderful. Super nice woman and magic hands and feet! I've never had a professional massage before and I'll definitely be back!Update: my wife had a massage right after me, but with a different masseuse. Apparently her experience was much different than mine. Zero oil was used, so it was a dry rub the entire time, which can actually be pretty painful. Her foot massage was done with one hand while the masseuse was texting with the other hand (lol uh what) and the massage ended about 10 minutes early. Her masseuse then demanded a tip (we are a service industry family so of course we were going to tip) and because I tipped my masseuse generously, her masseuse insisted on the same amount.I wasn't able to catch the masseuse's name that my wife had, but my masseuse's name was Candy and she was wonderful! If you're going to stop by this place I would definitely recommend requesting her!“
