About Massage Envy
Massage Envy provides massage, skin care, and total body stretch services that promote overall wellness and a healthy lifestyle. Customers have shared very positive experiences with the business. One customer described their massage as one of the best they've ever had, performed by a knowledgeable and skilled therapist named Adam. The environment was calming, clean, and friendly. For skin care, a customer praised the therapist, Adisa, for being sweet, informative, and highly skilled during a PCA chemical peel. The customer felt relaxed, and their skin appeared immediately refreshed, polished, firmer, and hydrated after the treatment. They appreciated the detailed explanations and the aftercare kit provided. Another first-time facial client also had a great experience with Brittney, highlighting her ability to calm active breakouts and reduce hyperpigmentation. Overall, Massage Envy's services leave customers feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and satisfied with their experiences.
I have only had a few massages, but I can honestly say they are worth the time—10 out of 10! Recently, I had a session with Adam, who listened carefully to what I needed. I can't believe how much better I feel compared to when I first walked into this place.
As a massage therapist for 15 years, you need to take care of your own body with regular massage and it is hard finding exactly what you knead.
I am amazed at how much knowledge and attention to detail Adam at Massage Envy in Vernon Hills provides for his clientele with 5 years of experience. If you're uneasy about a male massaging you, he drapes sheets like a champion only exposing the are he tends to. Word is going to get out about Adam so I prebook my next appt before I leave. And, yes, I saw him twice before submitting this review to ensure that he was spot on both times.
The facial with Priscilla was wonderful. She is a great esthetician. However, the marketing practices here are deceptive, a sentiment many other reviewers have expressed. When I booked online, I received an “intro rate” of $120, but when I went to check out, I was told I owe $195 because I did not qualify for the intro offer. This change in price was never mentioned to me, so it was surprising to pay $75 more than I anticipated after receiving the service. Afterwards, I went back to the booking online to see if I had misread something in the fine print, but there was nothing stating that I would not qualify for the introductory offer. I won’t be going back.
