James will refuse to accept a walk in if it is going to interfere with an appointment. Call and make an appointment and you can walk in right at that time and sit down right in the chair for your haircut. And it’s the best haircut in town

I am upset that I didn’t find James 10 years ago when I first moved to Champaign-Urbana. Nothing against Supercuts or whatever, but I won’t be back there because now I have a barber and his name is James. I heard his incredible life story on the WBGL podcast “The Unfolding” and then I got to hear a little more of it in the chair. I’m not messing around. I have a prom to attend tonight. And now I have a trimmed neck (one of the better necks in town now, I think) and a fresh haircut thanks to Mr. James Winston, a veteran of the US Army and my new barber. ???✂️
