Its been YEARS since I went to a salon to cut my hair. I usually go to people's houses to get my haircuts and finally decided to go to an actual salon for once and this place did not disappoint. My stylist, Makayla, has done an amazing job on my big chop! Before the actual cut started she took the time to go over my hair: what products I use (as well as some recommendations for others!), my routine, and what the end goal was for todays visit and that I really appreciated. I loved how gentle, informative, professional, and friendly Makayla was during my cut. I was very satisfied with her service. “I love everything about this particular salon. I am a person that doesn't go to a professional very often as I can be quite fickle; this year I decided to treat myself for my birthday. Jamie already is in my World as she cuts my Son's hair regularly, (he absolutely loves her too!) So naturally I booked with her for a color change. She took the mess of color I had in my hair, and gave me exactly what I wanted! She made my whole week, possibly beyond that, with the stunning results I saw in my hair! I don't know the other Woman's name that I spoke with that day, but she was extremely kind and knowledgeable regarding naturally curly hair care & tips. I recommend really anyone at this salon, they all are very skillful and exceptionally sweet! Hope this helps someone, have a wonderful day!“

“Absolutely LOVE the lady that has done my last few hairstyles! My edges are NEVER tight, actually are left out. My braids aren’t tight or heavy. The braider’s chair is the 2nd one, I’ll update once I remember her name.

This is a small salon (only three chairs) but they accept walk-ins but I believe appointments are preferred. Also, it’s very clean inside.

They supply the hair in the back- ALL COLORS! My go to color is usually #350.

04/27/2024 Update: Went again to get a new style that I saw trending high on social media called “Boho Marley Twist”.

Jacquie’s doesn’t supply Marley hair so I went to Jenny’s Beauty Supply and purchased 3 packs of “3X Freetress Equal Cuban Twist Braiding Hair (#350) & 1 pack of Freetress Beach Curls Crochet Human Hair (ginger).

Arrived at 4:30pm as a walk-in & was finished at 10:00pm. Love my hair!“

“I had a very pleasurable experience at Beauty by K. Marie as I usually do. The environment is extremely friendly with all smiles and accommodation. They are very thoughtful about their clients and truly aim to please. They are exceedingly professional and know exactly what they are doing be it a weave, silk press, perm, locks, natural hair in general etc. Love the music, love the ambiance. No one shampoos the hair better than CeCe. Shampooing is probably the most important attribute in the hairstyling process.“

“Nice polished spot to get your hair done quickly and professionally! I was even able to have a space all to myself so that was nice and private too. Got my hair braided and crocheted which lasted a while. Great conversation that made the hour fly by! The booking process does take a while online, you have to record your temperature and you still have to wear a mask when you go in. Also the parking lot is terrible and full of potholes the city doesn't seem to care to fix. But besides all that, talented hair stylists and braiders are hidden inside this building!“
