Joe's Market Basket

This is a great place for lunch at the deli. They have plenty of food options with low prices with quick service the majority of the time. The folks here are friendly, kind, and want to help however possible. As a plus for me, I get to shop for groceries as I wait for my lunch order. It's definitely a hidden gem in Edwardsville, IL :)

I've been a customer of Joe's Market Basket at the Edwardsville location for many years. In fact, I'm within walking distance so I frequent this establishment a lot. Anything that has to do with landscaping is grade A. The staff for the most part are friendly. I'm guessing that it's a family-owned business because I never see any diversity. My biggest gripe about Market Basket is that you have to watch the freshness dates on their food, especially baked goods. As I'm typing this, I'm eating a stale Hostess Apple Pie with the freshness date wiped away.
