“I have a very fear reactive dog who needs to be fully sedated for vet visits. She went to the same vet her whole life until we moved to Illinois a few years ago and I’ve struggled to find a vet I am comfortable with handling her since the move. A client of mine has a couple fear reactive dogs and she recommended Bethany. Unfortunately, our first visit there ended up being for an injury that led to surgery but they have been amazing throughout. The entire staff from front desk to techs to doctors (Dr. Brown did our consult & Dr. Dominguez the surgery) have been so understanding of her needs, have been incredible in communicating with me about her needs, her triggers, and what’s worked best for her in the past. As a reactive dog mom you get a lot of judgement and not a single person has made me or her feel judged. It’s a 45min drive to Bethany from our house but it is well worth the journey. Huge thank you from me and Lux! While we hope to not see you guys until her next annual it is so incredibly nice to know I don’t have to be stressed about where to bring her when the time comes.“
