Bought a standup deep freezer from them when I moved out to Sycamore. It was definitely a no pressure sale and the sales staff were more than friendly and helpful. My freezer was on sale so I got it for a fair price. Overall I would recommend them if you need any appliances in the area.
The door cables on our 8 yr old Bosch dishwasher broke. New parts came in promptly and the repair was quickly done. We really appreciated the day before "heads up" that let us know that the repairman would call us the next morning to let us know when he would arrive. Got the call, as promised, and the man even arrived a few minutes early. Great service! We have purchased several appliances from Paulsen's and are always happy to support a local independent business.
Bought a new clothes dryer from Paulson's Appliance in Sycamore a couple weeks ago, and when they installed it one of the feet was stripped. So the installer asked if I had a piece of wood about 1/2 thick to help level it. They got it perfectly level and tested it and all worked great. He told me to call and tell them, and they could either send a new one, or offer to knock a little off the price. I did not call, as it was working fine. This morning they called me to say they had the new foot, and could be here in 10 minutes to replace it. He arrived in 10 minutes, and had it done in 5.
