“We recently went to the Barker Shop in Willowbrook for the first time! Our Golden Retriever had never been truly groomed before and she turned out great! The groomer, (I believe Brena was her name), was extremely friendly, did an excellent job, and did exactly what we asked her to do! Our pup came out looking great and was the softest ever!!“

“We sent our dog Rocky to Western Wag for a little over two years, before moving out of the city. Our dog loved going there and would get excited at dropoff! We miss being a part of the community so much. Rocky would come home exhausted and we could tell from the pictures on instagram that he had a great day. “I had the most chaotic day picking up my sister’s sweet dog from O’Hare after he’d shipped home on an international flight. He was totally traumatized and totally needed a bath before we headed home, and I’m so glad this was nearby! I don’t have a dog myself, and have never had to bathe a dog on my own, so it was clear I wasn’t super experienced with the process. I believe it was the owner who came over and helped me through every step of the dog wash process. He helped sweet Finn boy feel safe and walked me through getting him as clean as can be! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I completely recommend them!“

He has given care to my pets.He is able to give you a full diagnosis and the options available for my pets.Today He neutered my cat Melvin and handled Melvin very well. He runs a real animal hospital. If you want a no frills just great care this is the place to bring your pets. A true vetinarian,very skilled and knowledgeable. His staff, Ms. Karen and a newcomer Nurse are both very nice and also great animal handlers. Able to do as much as possible to help and assist Dr.Gill and pet owners. “I have been taking my pup tekila here for about 5 years now and I've never had an issue. I have always been told when grooming will take longer than expected, and they have been patient with me when I can't pick her up right away. Tuki had a really bad experience with her previous groomer. They trimmed a part of her hair too far and took a part of her skin round her stomach. When I took her the first time she was nervous and shaking. I was introduced to a weekly treatment that helped her skin heal and her hair grow back. Now when I take her I don't even need to put her on a leash. She is excited and kisses the receptionist and her groomer too. I don't worry when she is there because i know the staff is trained and know what they are doing, on top of that. The photo shoots are really nice. I try to get them every chance I get.“

“Lovely people, excellent service, less expensive than other hoity-toi groomers in Oak Park. I've been going there with my dog Poco for over eight years and have had nothing but a good experience. Be forewarned--they are rightly POPULAR now, so don't think you can get in for a grooming by trying to schedule a week in advance. I typically book the next two upcoming appointments rather than just one so that I'm absolutely sure that the near future, at least, is covered! What's more, after Poco's grooming at Bubbles and Brushes for Paws this past June, I asked them if they'd take a photo--and it's one of my favorite photos EVER of the two of us.
