Soots N Ladders performed a free inspection of my chimney, they were much more thorough than other businesses that performed inspections for me and provided a competitive quote. Frank was knowledgeable, respectful, and suggested services based on priority. I was impressed with their work on the exterior, but not the firebox.They rebuilt nearly 10 courses of bricks, built a new concrete crown, and installed 2 new caps within 3 days of work. They did their best to match the original 70-year old brick. They also came back later to weatherproof the chimney. I hadn't operated the gas fireplace in my condo for 15 years and I wanted it inspected and started by a pro. My realtor Julie suggested Soots N Ladders, great suggestion! Frank and Eric arrived at my Geneva, IL condo on time and called ahead. They took care to inspect and turn on the fireplace unit, and then instructed me on its use. Wonderful gentlemen, kind and good communicators. Cost was very reasonable. I would call Soots and Ladders again for any chimney or gas fireplace needs. Recommended.

From the very start in the process, both Frank and Lisa were genuine and straightforward. They were highly communicative in all aspects of the job, and from the moment Frank and his team showed up to begin the work, they were warm, accommodating, and highly professional. Too often, when having work done on my house, I wonder if I am being taken advantage of or manipulated into doing work that may not be necessary. Working with Frank and Lisa was the exact opposite. They earned my trust each step of the way, and the quality of the work is excellent. I would give them 10 stars if the site allowed for it.
