“I learned about Krysia from my functional medicine doctor and my OBGYN after a pretty traumatic laparoscopic surgery where I found out I had stage 4 endo, blocked fallopian tubes, got my appendix removed and I was told by my OBGYN that my only option in getting pregnant was IVF and if I did get pregnant I would have to have a c-section. This was obviously crushing, but the OBGYN also said, “you could try going to Krysia because she’s a miracle worker”. Since both my functional med doc and OBGYN recommended her, I thought I might as well try it out. My first appointment was so healing. I felt so connected to my womb, and also to my Mexican culture, knowing this is a practice that comes from my ancestors. Me and my Husband obviously couldn’t try to get pregnant because my fallopian tubes were closed following surgery, but I have gone to Krysia for two years to work on preventing scar tissue growth and keeping my womb flowing with blood. In December 2023, I went to a new OBGYN who is also a NAPRO surgeon to do a laparoscopic diagnostic surgery to see what was going on with my tubes. ( I should also mention that I met with 4 IVF doctors who told me my tubes were probably damaged and I would definitely need IVF. Now mind you, they didn’t even look at my medical records.) When I went in for the laparoscopic surgery in December, my husband and I found out that my right tube was slightly blocked and the surgeon was able to open it and the left tube was actually completely open. She told me that I had stage 2 endo still, but it looked like endo that hadn’t been removed in my first surgery, not endo that had grown back. She said I had one polyp, and no fibroids (before seeing Krysia, I had tons of polyps and a fibroid that kept growing back). I attribute so much of my improvement to Krysia and after my surgery to remove my stage 2 endo for good this summer, I will probably see Krysia more often than once a month when we start trying to get pregnant.
